Très Beau

très beau literally means very beautiful, and that's what I have to describe Montreal and Mont Tremblant. The vibrant colours, the relaxing music, the beautiful architecture and the friendly people are welcoming for everyone, even those like myself who speak very little French.

The Jacques Cartier place in Old Montreal is turned into a pedestrian area lined with shops and fine dining restaurants in the evening. The old facades on these old buildings are craftily lilted and contrast against the night skies.

I have never been to Mont Tremblant in the winter, but in the summer, it's filled with energetic tourists admiring the beautiful slopes. As I walked through the resort village, it certainly felt as if I was walking through a tiny European village.
