It's been 5 weeks already for not doing anything particular in Toronto this year, but just to relax and enjoy the quiet and non-hectic life. Unfortunately, one of the things that I wish for this summer did not happen, despite how much preparation I have already done.
Many things have changed over the past year, one of which is the number of babies. There are so many new babies this year and I could hardly remember all of their names, but it's all good. I'm sure next year when I get to see them again, they will be running around and starting to talk in baby-language.
It looks like everyone that I met this year is enjoying his/her lives and trying to make the most of it. It is true that living in Toronto can sometimes be boring, but I think my friends are all doing different things to occupy their times and to enrich their lives - which is something that Hong Kong cannot have to offer other than solely on entertainment. Life is not just about fun and entertainment, especially when you are a part of the society, give something back is essential and truly rewarding.
As I head back to Hong Kong tomorrow to embark on my eighth year, I wish all of my great friends and buddies in Canada another wonderful 12 months ahead. Seeing you all again in 10 months time.
