With Prayers

Two days ago a message from my high-school alumni association came into my Facebook inbox. My favourite high-school math teacher, who retired less than two years ago, has recently been diagnosed with cancer. The message came so timely with Jack Layton's passing.

Instead of resistance and isolating himself, he wants to share his story as it simply be another test from God to his faith. (I admire his courage and positiveness in this battle.)

Please keep him in your prayers. He has been an inspirational model for many young people who walked into his classroom. He will continue to be an inspirational model for many more people.
