Mid-Autumn Festival at Langkawi

For the last 4 days I went to Langkawi, and the weather was not that great for the first two days. The rainstorm rolled in Saturday evening with extreme downpour and gusting winds. When the sun came out the following morning, tree branches were everywhere. The weather on Sunday did not improve either, in fact, it kept raining for the entire day and it only stopped in the evening. So I was stuck in the hotel basically for the entire Sunday.

Monday was much better, perhaps, the rainstorm cleared away all the clouds and it was super sunny. I went to the Oriental Village, took the cable car up to the top of the mountain to take a look at Langkawi, headed to Kuah to see the Eagle's Bay, and visited the Cenang beach. Without much public transit in Langkawi, a rental car or taxi cabs were the only two options.

After these four days, I think Penang is still the best city in Malaysia.
